Swipe Email Cleaner Privacy Policy

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information Handling and Processing

Swipe Email Cleaner functions as a local email client application on your mobile device, helping you manage, clean, and organize your inboxes. The App connects directly to your email service providers (such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, or custom IMAP servers) using standard secure protocols (OAuth 2.0 or IMAP).

Zero External Server Architecture: FlashSoft OÜ does not operate external application servers, cloud databases, or proxy servers for Swipe Email Cleaner. All email scanning, message sorting, swiping actions, and deletion commands are processed locally on your device and communicated directly to your email provider. We do not collect, read, store, or transmit your emails, credentials, or personal content to any server owned by us or third parties.

1.1 Data Processed Strictly On-Device

Email Metadata & Headers: Sender names, email addresses, dates, message sizes, and subject lines are fetched directly from your provider and cached strictly in your device's local memory for quick swipe rendering.
Authentication Tokens: Secure OAuth tokens or connection settings remain stored solely inside your device's encrypted Keychain / Keystore sandbox.
App Preferences: Local sorting filters, theme settings, and connection configurations stay strictly on your device.

1.2 Google Workspace Data & Limited Use Compliance

Swipe Email Cleaner’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data Access & Use: We access email headers, metadata, and message snippets solely to provide user-facing features (sorting, organizing, and cleaning emails).
Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer Google user data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
AI/ML Restrictions: Google user data is not used for training generalized or personalized AI/ML models.
Security: OAuth authentication tokens are stored securely on the user's local device and encrypted via iOS Keychain / Android Keystore.

1.3 Data Protection Mechanisms for Sensitive Data

To protect sensitive user data (including email metadata, headers, message snippets, and authentication credentials), Swipe Email Cleaner implements robust technical and organizational security controls:

Encryption in Transit: All API requests and data transfers between the App and Google Workspace / Gmail APIs are strictly encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.2/1.3 protocol (HTTPS).
Encryption at Rest: Sensitive authentication tokens and user credentials are encrypted at rest using OS hardware-backed secure storage mechanisms (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) with AES-256 encryption.
Local Sandbox Isolation: Temporary email metadata cached on the user's device is isolated within the App's protected OS application sandbox, inaccessible to other apps or external networks.
Access Control & Zero Server Storage: FlashSoft OÜ maintains no external application servers or remote databases. Personnel have zero access to user emails, tokens, or credentials.
Data Retention & Automatic Eradication: Data is retained strictly on-device for the period the user maintains the account connection. Disconnecting an account, clearing app data, or uninstalling the App immediately and permanently deletes all stored tokens and cached email content.

2. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Because FlashSoft OÜ does not maintain any servers or databases for user email data, we have no access to your emails or credentials. All connection tokens and cached email data reside exclusively on your physical mobile device.

If you disconnect an account within the App, clear app storage, or uninstall Swipe Email Cleaner, all locally cached metadata and authentication tokens are immediately and permanently erased from your device.

3. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The App does not harvest, sell, rent, or trade your email data, address lists, or personal details to any marketing or analytics providers.

In-app purchase validation, subscription checking, or diagnostic crash reports (if opted-in) may be processed securely by Apple App Store Billing Services or Google Play Billing Services.

4. Children's Privacy

Swipe Email Cleaner does not knowingly solicit or collect data from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected or stored on our servers, we maintain a general audience standard across all app installations.

5. Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store your personal information on our systems, we generally hold no data for you to access, export, modify, or delete. If you correspond with our support team, we will retain your email address and ticket conversation solely to help resolve your inquiry.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
